The data center of a bank in Chengdu is carried out an upgrade and transformation on the traditional air-cooled air conditioning system. The original system has been replaced by the variable-frequency fluorine pump natural cooling air conditioning system. Moreover, the outdoor units of the air conditioning adopt the spray-evaporative condensation technology to improve the operating energy efficiency ratio of the units and achieve natural cooling in the fluorine pump mode. Meanwhile, CFD simulation is employed to realize the rational distribution of cold air in the computer room, and BIM technology is used to accurately simulate the construction process. In addition, AI energy-saving control is adopted to achieve a high degree of matching between the optimal operating output of the computer room air conditioning and the cooling demand of the computer room, so as to save energy and reduce consumption. In the same layout space, the cooling capacity of the computer room air conditioning system after the transformation increases by approximately 45%, the power consumption decreases by 46.5%, and the power usage effectiveness (PUE) of the computer room drops to 1.4.
